Gefran, a leading Italian company based in Brescia known for its production of sensors, components, and solutions for industrial automation and process control, has announced a significant strategic move by acquiring a majority stake in CZ Elettronica and its subsidiary, Mecatronica. This acquisition, which represents a 60% stake in CZ Elettronica for an investment of €870,000, is set to bolster Gefran’s offerings in key sectors such as steel, textiles, and plastics.

Marcello Perini, CEO of Gefran, emphasized the strategic importance of this acquisition, stating, “This acquisition represents a strategic step to strengthen our proposal of turnkey solutions, which has always been a distinctive element of Gefran in the field of industrial automation”. The integration of CZ Elettronica’s established expertise will not only expand Gefran’s product offerings but also enhance its market reach. The collaboration is expected to create synergies that will leverage the strengths of both companies, ultimately leading to more comprehensive service offerings for their customers.

This partnership will provide a competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving and increasingly demanding market”, he stated.
